昔の話ですがドラム叩きながら歌う時、自分だけかもしれんけど毎回マイクスタンドの調整に苦労しました。狭いライブハウスではモニターやドラムのスタンドや他のマイクに当たらんようにするのが厄介。あと練習スタジオはボロい機材が多く、マイクスタンドのマイクに接続する部分のネジがすぐ緩んで角度が変わってあーストップー！とかなったりしました。昔ある時テレビでこの曲を歌うドンヘンリーが自分の後ろからぐいっとフレキシブルに曲がって口元にきてるマイクスタンド使ってて、おぉこれいいと思ったけど売ってなかったので諦めました。 英語が相変わらず下手くそですがスミマセン。 歌詞 On a dark desert highway, Cool wind in my hair, Warm smell of “colitas” Rising up through the air, Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light, My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night.
